Biketoberfest

Biketoberfest is one of the better known Motorcycle Rallies in the United States. It is held in sunny Florida. How can you go wrong with sandy beaches, bikinis and Motorcycles? There have been upwards of anywhere from 100,000 to 150,000 riders to attend Biketoberfest each year. What a great opportunity to meet and ride with some of your Motorcycle brothers and sisters.

Biketoberfest is a fantastic event attracting bikers from all over the United States, and yes, other countries too. It is usually held in the middle of October each year. Just a few of the activities going on include:

• Bike Shows
• Charity Rides
• Concerts
• Racing
• Street rallys

There is no doubt that you can catch one of the Motorcycle shows going on during Biketoberfest. You can see several custom and vintage Motorcycles at this rally. If you like camping, we have heard that the Cabbage Patch is one of the better places to camp. The campground is actually called Cacklebery Campground and is located at 560 N Tomoka Farms Rd New Smyrna Beach, Florida. They have an onsite Tavern and live entertainment, plus Motorcycle games. You may not even want to leave the property. If you’re not into camping, there are several hotels in the Daytona Area close to the action of Biketoberfest.

There are even events going on at the speedway. You don't want to miss those! There is so much racing history here; you might find yourself in awe. You shouldn't have too much trouble parking your Motorcycle at the Speedway, because parking is free.

Events surround you everywhere at Biketoberfest. It won't be hard to find something fun to do. Take a ride down to the famous Main Street. There is plenty of action going on here! The number of Motorcycles along Main Street at Biketoberfest rivals even Sturgis!

Live music fills the air all around at Biketoberfest. There is no shortage of bands and venues to catch a show. You may even be able to hear some of the bands as you ride along Biketoberfest, that is - if the sound of pipes all around you doesn't drown them out!

Don't forget your suntan lotion and sunglasses. The weather is normally very nice the week of Biketoberfest. The days are sunny and warm, and the nights are cool, but comfortable. Be sure to take a  ride out to and along the beach.

Not only is this a great place to ride, but the views are not bad either!

There are usually close to 2000 Vendors that you can stop by to visit while at Biketoberfest. With that many, if there is something you are looking for; you should not have any trouble finding it.
