If the weather is good, there is a Ride in Bike Show that you can enter.

One of the reasons so many bikers head on over to the Cherokee Survivors rally is for the roads.

Here, you are only a short ride from The Blue Ridge Parkway, the Cherohala Skyway, and the infamous Dragon. You may not want to ride the dragon over the weekend, due to the high volume of sport bikes and police. Sunday is not as bad, but it can still be a little crowded. Another ride to consider is Highway 276 from Waynesville to the Pisgah forest. It is a longer ride than the dragon, and has much less traffic.

Multiple vendors are always at Cherokee Survivors Rally with that certain item you have been looking for. Check out all of the biker stuff at the swap meet area. Form Leather, to jewelry, t-shirts, food, bike parts and even tattoos, there is plenty to look in the vendor area.

There is a big fenced in area at Cherokee Survivors Rally where most of the attendees hang out. You might want to bring your own alcoholic beverages, because the reservation is dry. The county outside of the reservation however may allow you to purchase your drink of choice. To be on the safe side, you probably should carry it with. Avoid drinking and riding, because there tends to be law all around at Cherokee Survivors Rally.

It can get fairly crowded being a smaller area. Some find that it can be hard to get into and back out of due to the high number of people in such a small area. If you are looking for space to spread out, the Cherokee Survivors Rally might not be the event for you.
