Hot Springs RetreatHot Springs Retreat -
Ride the great roads, stay in the Cabins, enjoy the mineral baths
Great roads and riding
await in Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina. If you are
looking for a great place to get away from it all and enjoy some of the
best riding around, look no further than toward a Hot Springs retreat.
This is a place that you can ride, relax, eat, swim, fish, and just get
away from it all.
Riding along Highway 70 or Northbound on Highway 209, you will enter an interesting, small town. Near Hot Springs NC, you will not only find some of the best twisties, but you can relax in the mineral water while on your Hot Springs Retreatl. They claim that there are several therapeutical benefits to taking a dip in the natural mineral waters. Depending on where you are riding from and to, you may want to stop and grab a place to crash. Several great places to stay, from Cabins, to camping, to hotels are scattered around the area. You can't go wrong no matter your preference, or where you choose to stay.
There is a new place along Highway 209 that caters to bikers only. It is one of my favorites. It is a place called the Bikers Inn. Check out this flyer for more information and a telephone number to reach the good folks at the Bikers Inn. It makes a great place to stop, unwind, relax, and know that you are among like-minded bikers. There are several routes you can ride to get to your Hot Springs retreat. My favorite routes to ride while enjoying a Hot Springs Retreat are Highway 25/70 from East to West (or west to east) and Highway 209 If you are looking for some twisties that rival the tail of the dragon, just jump on Highway 209 and hold on to your head. Highway 209 stretches from the Hot Springs Retreat area southbound all the way to Lake Junaluska. This is one curvy, high-elevation road that will take you to your Hot Springs Retreat. There are a few good restaurants in the area. If you are looking for some good home cookin' be sure to stop in town on your Hot Springs retreat. There is a more 'uptown' restaurant right in town, but it is a little pricey for my blood. In the heart of the North Carolina Mountains, it is not that far to get to your Hot Spring Retreat. If you are riding from the Knoxville area, it is only about two hours to your Hot Springs Retreat. You definitely don't want to pass up on the rides around these parts if you are ever near this awesome Hot Springs Retreat. |
