Las Vegas Bikefest is held in the late fall - usually around the last week of September and into the first week of October. While there are several motorcycle related events across the state Las Vegas Bikefest is one of the wildest. Whereabouts in town is this held? Just head downtown and once you get close to Cashman Center, you won't be able to miss it. There will be motorcycles everywhere!

Don't be surprised to see anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 of your fellow riders at Las Vegas Bikefest. It has gained quite a bit of attraction, and why not? Its Vegas, baby! Las Vegas Bikefest used to be held a little earlier in the fall and late summer, but the heat of the desert made riding uncomfortable, so the attendance was a little low. The new schedule makes it better for those who attend this fantastic, four day event.

This Motorcycle Rally is held in - of all places, Las Vegas! Of course, Las Vegas Bikefest much much more than just a place to take some great rides through the desert. It is an adult playground! Some of the great day rides you might want to consider during Las Vegas Bikefest include:

  • Mount Charleston - Prepare for steep inclines riding up the mountain, and be sure your brakes are in good shape when you begin your decent back to Las Vegas Bikefest..
  • Nellis Air Force Base - Of course, it might be hard to get in, but this makes for a good ride.
  • Hoover Dam / Lake Mead - A short ride south will take you to the Dam. The lake is clear and beautiful.

You can always take a break from riding or the Las Vegas Bikefest itself and stop at one of the many Casinos. Take is a show if you want, there are many to choose from. And don't forget about the inexpensive food options you can find in many of the casinos around town. With all of these attractions, and the Motorcycles of Las Vegas Bikefest too - this is bound to one heck of a party!

There is a charge to get in to Vendor Village at Las Vegas Bikefest. Expect to pay $15.00 for a weekend pass (More, if you wait to get it at the gate) to check out all of the vendors and their wares. A party pass for Las Vegas Bikefest may be way to go. Sure, you'll pay $25.00, but with the extras it includes, you actually save money. With this pass, you'll get a T-shirt, a Ride pin and gift if you’re one of the first 7500. The shuttle is thrown in and you get discounts on food and drink. You could opt for the Ultimate pass. These are limited, so if you go this route, be sure to get yours early.

Past events during Las Vegas Bikefest have offered such attractions as Master Builders, Bikini contests, Wet T-shirt contests, and of course, Mr. and Ms. Las Vegas. Of course, being where it is, Las Vegas Bikefest would not be complete without poker runs and tournaments. Be sure not to miss the Tattoo contests and Arm Wrestling that will most likely be going on. Music fills the air as several concerts help add some sound to the scene. Even bands like 38 special and George Thorogood have been known to play here. You might even find the opportunity to take a demo ride on a Harley while you are having a great time at Las Vegas Bikefest.
