The Tellico Biker Rally has become more and more popular each year. It is a fairly young rally, but seems to be growing at a good pace.

Although we didn't actually track the attendance at Tellico Biker Rally this year, there must have been at least 500 people in attendance. That's a pretty good turnout for an event that is so young. Many of the riders that attended were there to help support our troops. One of the organizations that benefits from Tellico biker Rally is the Wounded Warrior Project.

This event is nestled in a very inviting setting. Lying in a valley, with a small, shallow river running through the middle, surrounded by beautiful mountain ridgelines makes for a relaxing place to hold the Tellico Biker Rally. There are two entrances to get in. One is marked for Motorcycles only, and the other allows all vehicles. That is the one most of the RVs use. The RVs and other 'cages' cannot cross the small river to get over to the Vendor and Bar side of Tellico Biker Rally, so if you camp on that side, there is much less generator noise. If you want, you can pull in to one side and catch the tractor that drives by to carry your camping gear to the vendor side.

On the RV side of Tellico Biker Rally, there is a nice little pond if you feel adventurous enough to go wading or swimming. The shallow river, in our opinion, is a much better place to go wading. Or you could just lie down in it to cool off - several riders did! The camping areas are fairly level, so you don't even have to sleep on a hill.

There were some unique events and attractions at Tellico Biker Rally

  • Bike Show/Contest - all proceeds went to the Wounded Warrior Project
  • Burnouts - Not uncommon, but a great show
  • Carnival Games - First time we have seen this!
  • Karaoke - under a large tent casting welcome shade.
  • Motorcycle Raffle - A sweet little bobber was raffled off
  • Straw Drop - Ride past the 2-Liter bottle and drop the straw into it
If you wanted to build a fire at your campsite, there was plenty of free firewood to be had. There were a few folks with fires going at Tellico Biker Rally, but not many. It was a bit warm for a campfire for us. Although it was very warm during the day, the nighttime was pleasantly cool. We actually had to use a sleeping bag in our tents.

One thing to watch for at the Tellico Biker Rally is the loose gravel. Riding toward the covered bar area was a bit challenging. The gravel was fresh, thick, and a bit loose. The covered bar was a great place to cool off and watch the bands play. There was an upstairs deck too, which offered a great view of the Tellico Biker Rally.
